SCIENCE

FLEXIBLE contains 4 premium ingredients (JESSICA COMPLETE SENTENCE)

HYDROLYZED COLLAGEN PEPTIDES

hydrolyzed collagen peptides

  • Skin Health

Study #1: Conducted as double-blind, placebo-controlled trial, 69 women aged 35-55 years were randomized to receive 2.5 g or 5.0 g of collagen peptides or placebo once daily for 8 weeks, with 23 subjects being allocated to each treatment group.

After 4 weeks, a statistically significantly higher skin elasticity level was determined.

Study #2: Two placebo-controlled trials involving women aged 40–59 years showed that daily oral collagen peptides significantly improved skin hydration after 8 weeks, increased collagen density, and reduced collagen fragmentation after 4 weeks, with effects lasting through 12 weeks.

Ex vivo studies on human skin explants confirmed that collagen peptides also stimulated collagen and glycosaminoglycan production—a compound that helps the skin attract and retain water.

  • Joint Health

Study #1: A prospective, randomised, double-blind, placebo controlled study in women between the age of 40 and 70 with mild-to-moderate knee osteoarthritis showed that the oral intake of collagen peptides (used in FLEXIBLE) for a duration of 6 months obtained the following results:

—22% improvement in overall joint functionality
—32% reduction in joint discomfort
—44% increase in flexibility

*As assessed by two well established scoring systems (WOMAC and Lysholm score).

Study #2: A double-blind, randomised, placebo-controlled trial, involving 24 active young men. The tested daily dosage was a total of 20g collagen peptides (used in FLEXIBLE) or placebo taken in two servings: 10g in the morning and 10g in the evening.

The outcome was 20% faster recovery at all times after intense exercise.

Glucosamine Sulfate

GLUCOSAMINE SULFATE

  • Joint Health and Osteoarthritis

Study #1:Glucosamine sulfate can delay joint space narrowing, resulting in a minor progression of Osteoarthritis

The same study demonstrated that supplementation with glucosamine sulfate for at least 12 months leads to a reduction in the need for total joint replacement for at least 5 years following treatment cessation.

Study #2: Two studies that included around 200 people with osteoarthritis, showed that daily administration of glucosamine sulfate daily for three years improved their overall symptoms — including pain, stiffness and function — compared to a placebo.

Study #3: A double-blind study performed in competitive male athletes revealed that glucosamine sulfate supplements can improve knee mobility after an injury. The effects were reported after only four weeks of glucosamine administration.

Bromelain

BROMELAIN

  • Anti-inflammatory properties: Digestive, Cardiorespiratory and Immunomodulatory Health

Study #1: In vitro bromelain treatment of gastric mucosa biopsies showed that this enzyme could aid digestion and alleviate symptoms in patients suffering from Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD) by suppressing inflammation.

Study #2: Bromelain has demonstrated anti-inflammatory effects both in lab studies and in living organisms, making it a potential supplement for managing inflammation-related conditions like bronchitis, arthritis, and post-surgical recovery.

Study #3: Bromelain may contribute to cardiovascular health by breaking down cholesterol plaques and exhibiting fibrinolytic activity—the breakdown and dissolution of a protein called fibrin, which is involved in forming blood clots. Bromelain may also minimise the severity of angina pectoris, transient ischemic attack (TIA), and thrombophlebitis.

Study #4: Bromelain has demonstrated anti-cancerous activity by modifying key pathways that support cellular malignancy. It may impact cancer cells, their microenvironment, and immune, inflammatory, and hemostatic systems.

METHYLSULFONYLMETHANE (MSM)

METHYLSULFONYLMETHANE (MSM)

  • Anti-inflammatory Properties: Joint, Hair and Skin health

Study #1: A prospective, randomised, double-blind, controlled clinical trial involving 49 men and women aged 45-90 with knee osteoarthritis suggested that MSM supplementation over the course of 12 weeks can help relieve pain and improve physical function in patients with osteoarthritis.

Study #2: A double-blind, randomised study involving 63 women aged 35 to 59 years evaluated the effects of MSM on skin ageing over 16 weeks. Results showed that MSM significantly reduced facial wrinkles and improved skin firmness, elasticity, and hydration.

Study #3: MSM is believed to support skin, hair, and nail health by donating sulfur to keratin amino acids. In a 16-week, double-blind study with 63 healthy middle-aged women, MSM significantly increased hair volume and improved hair shine, as assessed by expert grading and self-reports.
